I can't believe our little baby girl is already one year old! We had the greatest birthday weekend ... Abuelita Edelmira and Tia Jas were both in town to celebrate one whole year with Francesca. It is amazing to see how she's grown
On Sunday, we had a big party with a bumblebee theme. Many of our friends asked, "Why bumblebees?" There is a saying that goes:
Aerodynamically, the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, for it's wings are too small for it's body - but the bumblebee doesn't know this, so it keeps on flying anyway.
We want our Francesca to know she has the potential to fly in life. We hope that she will always hear encouragement from us to dream, to be, to do whatever she sets her heart on. So, we call her our little bumblebee!
